Hermes credits
Hermes uses credits from your plan. One credit is about $0.01 of AI, and each message uses what it actually cost.
How credits are counted
- 1 Hermes credit ≈ $0.01 of AI. Each message uses what Hermes spent answering it, rounded up to the next credit: from 1 to 40 credits.
- Building a typical flow takes about 20 credits. A short reply can use just 1.
- Free: pressing Not yet or Cancel under a question from Hermes, and a message that fails before Hermes starts working. If something fails halfway, only what was used counts.
- Adapting or scoring a social media caption with AI uses 1 credit each.
- Credits are for Hermes. The AI Nodes in your flows run with your own AI account and don't use them.
- Credits are shared by everyone in your organization and renew every month.
Credits per plan
| Plan | Hermes credits per month |
|---|---|
| Free | 200 |
| Starter | 500 |
| Pro | 1,500 |
| Enterprise | 4,000 to 20,000, with your weekly events (below) |
On Enterprise, your credits grow with the weekly events you choose:
| Events per week | Hermes credits per month |
|---|---|
| 12,000 | 4,000 |
| 25,000 | 6,000 |
| 50,000 | 9,000 |
| 100,000 | 14,000 |
| 200,000 | 20,000 |
You can see how many you have used, and when they renew, in Settings → Usage.
The limit per message
A single message can use up to 40 credits. If a long request gets there, Hermes finishes the step it is on and stops: what it already did stays done, and it tells you it stopped. Write continue and it picks up from there.
When you are running low
- At 80%, the Hermes chat and Hermes Builder show how many you have used and the date they renew.
- At 100%, Hermes isn't available for the rest of the month on your plan: the chat is disabled until your credits renew. To get more, move to a bigger plan, or to more weekly events on Enterprise.
- Near the end, if someone else in your organization is using the last credits, Hermes says it is finishing another request. Try again in a moment.
Stopping Hermes
While Hermes is working, the Send button in the Hermes chat turns into a red stop button (Stop generating). Stop generating stops showing the answer; a request that's already running may finish, and you're only charged for what it used.
Closing the tab doesn't stop a request that is already running; you're only charged for what it used. Hermes Builder has no stop button yet.
